Based in Adelaide Metro, as our invaluable Podiatrist, you will be responsible for prevention, diagnoses, treatment, and rehabilitation of foot and lower limbs disorder. This includes assessing and monitoring client function, safety, and independence in performing daily activities.  You will collaborate with the individuals, families, groups and communities considering their physical, social and cultural environments.

As part of the Metropolitan Division Team, this role involves close cooperation with other allied health professionals, clinical staff and other staff across residential services. 

 

You’ll also make an impact by:

  • Providing comprehensive and contemporary, evidence-based podiatry services to clients, tailored to their unique needs, challenges, and preferences within a residential environment. 
  • Addressing workplace conflicts professionally and in accordance with established organizational procedures.
  • Promoting open and responsive feedback to monitor and evaluate client satisfaction through the Helping Hand client feedback and engagement processes
  • Coordinating with other staff to prioritize client services and collaborating with care and clinical teams as necessary.

What you’ll bring 

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • A Bachelor of Podiatry qualification
  • A current AHPRA registration
  • Demonstrated experience providing podiatry services to adult clients in in a clinical setting
  • Experience in assessing and evaluating functional needs of clients and supervising staff involved in the provision of podiatry services
  • Demonstrated high level interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with people from a diverse range of backgrounds and the ability to be cross culturally sensitive
  • A current CPR certificate
  • Current driver's license
  • A valid NDIS Worker Screening clearance or be willing to obtain one

You’ll stand out from the crowd if you have some of the following:

  • Experience in the aged care sector
  • Experience in the provision of clinical education or other tertiary provision of education (e.g., tutoring, lecturing, mentoring)
