As a Dietitian, you will be responsible for all aspects of nutritional care of clients, including dietetic assessment and diagnosis, consultation, intervention and review, and education, including staff education. You will provide services across our metro and regional residential care homes. You will work closely with other allied health professionals, clinical staff and other staff across Residential services. 

You’ll also make an impact by:

  • Provide comprehensive and contemporary, evidence-based dietetic services to clients in accordance with each client’s individual needs with a respect for client choice.  
  • Develop and deliver professional training to staff, clients and others.
  • Commitment to continual professional and personal development.
  • Contribute to team and organisational outcomes through co-operative and collaborative interactions.

 

What you’ll bring 

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualification as a Dietitian and membership of Dietitians Australia.
  • Demonstrated experience providing dietetic services to adult clients in rehabilitative, sub-acute, community and aged care environments.
  • Current drivers’ licence and access to own vehicle. 
  • First Aid and CPR certificates or be willing to obtain.
  • Valid NDIS Worker Screening clearance or be willing to obtain one.

You’ll stand out from the crowd if you have some of the following:

  • Experience in provision of dietetic services in residential care settings and/or sub-acute, rehabilitation, NDIS or with older adults.
  • Experience in food service and/or Menu & Dining experience reviews.
  • Experience in student supervision and student project management.
  • Experience in provision or development of new services, group education sessions for clients and staff.
  • Flexibility to travel and stay in regional areas for short periods.
