An exciting opportunity exists to join our Centralised Rostering team as a Staffing Coordinator.

Based at our Tranmere Corporate Office, as our invaluable Staffing Coordinator, you will provide critical services to Helping Hand Residential Care Homes through the efficient and effective development and maintenance of the staffing roster and associated staffing processes. 

You’ll also make an impact by:

  • Providing excellent customer service to our staff, customers, and visitors. Be prepared to go the extra mile, demonstrate our values every day and be a productive and effective member of the team.
  • Developing and maintaining effective and efficient staff rosters for all site staff. This will include ensuring that shifts are assigned, modified, communicated and backfilled when required. The rosters must be managed in accordance with Helping Hand’s roster process, industrial requirements, financial parameters and in accordance with fair and equitable practices.
  • Working with Residential Services Managers and Recruitment to ensure vacant shifts are advertised quickly and or offered to new permanent staff on appointment.
  • Liaising with staff and managers regarding changes and updates to the roster to ensure the smooth day to day coordination of all rostering requirements.

 

What you’ll bring 

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience in roster management and processes using an electronic roster system.
  • Previous experience in a data entry role requiring accurate and timely record entry, using multiple data bases.
  • Excellent organisational skills with ability to prioritise and complete work within established deadlines and a proactive approach to problem solving. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and highly developed written communications skills. 
  • Computer literacy particularly in the effective use of Microsoft office and related programs.
  • Valid NDIS Worker Screening clearance or be willing to obtain one.

You’ll stand out from the crowd if you have some of the following:

  • Certificate level qualification in Administration or related area.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of awards or EBA’s and their application to roster management.
  • Previous experience in recruitment and Human Resources processes.
  • Knowledge of quality systems and reporting tools.
