Based in our Tranmere office, as Principal People and Culture Business Partner, you will be working closely with executive and senior managers to drive the Helping Hand Workforce Strategy, develop, and implement HR initiatives, and to provide expert guidance for HR-related matters across the employee life cycle. 

The Principal P&C Business Partner will have responsibility for management of Senior People and Culture Business Partners and a discreet corporate portfolio. While your base location will be Tranmere office, you will be travelling to other care homes and offices across metro Adelaide and regional area including Port Pirie, Clare, Jamestown and Whyalla where your accommodation and travel will be supported.

You’ll also make an impact by:

  • Coaching, empowering and providing guidance to Senior P&C BPs to strive for optimum performance in an environment of continuous improvement. 
  • Providing strategic advice on people-related matters, including organisational design, workforce planning.
  • Implementing change management initiatives to support the adoption of new HR programs and systems.
  • Using HR data analytics to generate insights and recommendations for improving organisational effectiveness.

 

What you’ll bring 

 

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • A degree or equivalent in Human Resources, or an equivalent body of professional knowledge gained through experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ generalist HR experience, with a focus on strategic HR business partnering across all aspects of the employee life cycle.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian employment laws, regulations, and contemporary HR practices.
  • Demonstrated experience providing high level advice and guidance to managers in the interpretation of employment legislation, HR policies, procedures, and practices in relation to their broad people management responsibilities.
  • A Valid NDIS Worker Screening clearance or be willing to obtain one.
  • Current Drivers License and ability to travel to all Helping Hand sites including regional locations.
