Based in Parafield Gardens, as our invaluable Clinical Educator, you will provide clinical support, education, and training services to clinical and care staff across Helping Hand. While your base location for this role will be Parafield Gardens, you will be regularly travelling to other care homes across metro Adelaide and regional area including Port Pirie, Clare, Jamestown and Whyalla where your accommodation and travel will be supported

The Clinical Educator fosters continuous improvement in clinical practices, improves employee experiences, and ensures person-centred care for our clients. 

You’ll also make an impact by:

• Contributing to the design, development, implementation, and review of the annual clinical education and training calendar.
• Supporting line managers in conducting an annual clinical education and training needs analysis for all clinicians, and in addressing identified clinical skills gaps in individual employees.
• Contributing to the seamless delivery of corporate people, culture, and quality services to the business by acting as the primary contact and conduit for line managers and Helping Hand employees to corporate clinical education and training services and support.

What you’ll bring 

To succeed in this role, you will have:

• Registered or eligible for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of South Australia and possession of current Annual Practicing Certificate.
• Holds or is working towards tertiary qualifications in adult education, or Certificate IV Workplace Training and Assessment (or equivalent training qualification).
• Experience in a clinical environment including demonstrated effectiveness in leading teams, managing teams, data analysis and managing resources.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects and deliver quality outcomes within specified deadlines, along with high-level organizational skills and the ability to work in a pressured environment with competing demands.
• Ability to travel both in Adelaide Metro and into regional areas. 
• Hold an unrestricted Drivers license 
• A valid NDIS worker screening clearance or be willing to obtain one.

You’ll stand out from the crowd if you have some of the following:

• Experience and competence at senior level undertaking a similar role in an aged care environment.

Hourly Rate : $57.89 to $61.91 (Plus Super), depending on experience
