Based in Salisbury South, as our invaluable Customer Service Officer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to both potential and existing customers who enquire about Helping Hand’s Home Care Services and the Aged Care System.

Customer Service Officer works closely Home Care’s Customer Engagement team and reports to the Customer Engagement Manager. 

You’ll also make an impact by:

  • Embracing a customer first approach at all times to ensure a positive experience for all prospective and existing customers and other internal / external stakeholders.
  • Engaging with customers, build rapport and ensure all customers are getting the best services for their circumstances.
  • Activating the referral by initiating contact with the prospective customer and establish a positive connection using the information available on MACG.
  • Logging compliments and complaints within the TellTouch system and assist with quality improvement processes.

 

What you’ll bring 

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Experience in maintaining and operating in environments where information is of a private and / or confidential nature.
  • Demonstrated proficiencies in Microsoft suite e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook and other computer applications and an ability to learn new software programs.
  • Proven ability to provide an exceptional service experience through building rapport with customers from the initial contact.
  • Valid NDIS Worker Screening clearance or be willing to obtain one.
  • Flexibility to start at 0700AM and work on rotating rosters from Monday to Friday including Public Holidays.

You’ll stand out from the crowd if you have some of the following:

  • Certificate III in Call Centre Communications.
  • Previous customer service experience.
  • Experience in the Aged Care industry

Hourly Pay Rate: $28.88 to $29.46 per hour (Plus Super), depending on the experience
